Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting your installation, ensure the room temperature is stable. Prepare your subfloor by sweeping, vacuuming, and ensuring it is level; any bumps or cracks will telegraph through the vinyl over time.
- Acclimatize: Let the planks sit in the room for 24 hours before installing.
- Clean: Ensure the subfloor is free of dust, grease, and debris.
- Peel: Remove the backing paper carefully, starting from one corner of the room.
- Align: Place the plank firmly and press down from the center toward the edges to remove air bubbles.
- Care: For routine care, sweep regularly and wipe clean with a damp mop using a PH-neutral floor cleaner. Avoid harsh chemical solvents or abrasive scrubbing pads.
