Draper Screw Extractor Set - 5 Piece

These extractors are suitable for use on a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and most types of alloys. They may be less effective on extremely hard or heat-treated materials.

The pilot hole should be smaller than the diameter of the extractor. Refer to the size markings on the extractors for guidance.

It is generally not recommended to use an impact driver, as it can damage the extractors. Use a manual wrench or other driving tool for better control.

Apply consistent, controlled force. Do not overtighten and ensure the extractor is properly seated before turning.

Warranty information is not available in the product data.

Store the extractors in the provided plastic case to protect them from damage and corrosion.

Try applying penetrating oil. If the extractor remains stuck, consider using a different method of extraction, or consult a professional.

Ensure the pilot hole is correctly sized and centered. Try tapping the extractor gently into place before attempting to turn. If necessary, use a larger extractor size.

Do not apply excessive force. Make sure the extractor is securely seated and turning smoothly. If necessary, try heating the surrounding area to loosen the fastener.

Apply penetrating oil and allow time for it to work. Try using heat to expand the surrounding metal. Ensure you are turning the extractor in the correct (counterclockwise) direction.
