Product Information

Full details

The VEVOR Firewood Rack with Sloped Roof is an ideal solution for homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts who need a reliable, weather-protected storage system for their firewood supply. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-strength metal frame and an integrated polycarbonate roof, which keeps logs dry and ready for burning regardless of rain or snow. While the unit provides a robust 660 lbs weight capacity, users should note that assembly is required and the rack is best suited for level, solid surfaces like patios or paved garden areas.

FAQs

How much firewood can this rack hold?

This rack has a capacity of 1/4 cord of wood.

Can the roof withstand heavy snow?

Yes, the roof is made from impact-resistant polycarbonate with a sloped design specifically intended to shed snow and rain.

Is the rack rust-resistant?

Yes, it features a galvanized steel frame with a black powder coating for superior rust and weather protection.

What tools do I need for assembly?

Standard hand tools such as a screwdriver and a wrench are typically required for assembly.

Can I use this on grass?

While it is a free-standing unit, it is recommended to place it on a hard surface like patio stones or concrete to ensure the feet do not sink into soft soil over time.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The rack is rated for a maximum load capacity of 660 lbs.

Troubleshooting

Rack feels wobbly

Adjust the leveling feet at the base of the rack until all four corners make firm contact with the ground.

Roof panels are loose

Check the mounting hardware on the roof support brackets and ensure all fasteners are tightened securely.

Surface appears dusty or stained

Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the powder coating.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Integrated roof keeps firewood dry year-round
  • Rust-resistant powder-coated steel frame
  • High weight capacity of 660 lbs
  • Adjustable feet accommodate slightly uneven ground
  • Large capacity for efficient log storage

Cons

  • Requires manual assembly with tools
  • Size may be bulky for small balconies
  • Not intended for relocation once fully loaded

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure maximum longevity, place the rack on a flat, stable surface. Use the integrated adjustable leveling feet to compensate for minor slope deviations in your garden or patio. Assembly requires basic hand tools to secure the galvanized components. To care for the unit, periodically check the bolt connections after the first few weeks of use to ensure they remain tight. Clean the polycarbonate roof using mild soap and water to ensure light transmission and to clear debris. While the powder-coated finish is durable, avoid using abrasive wire brushes on the metal frame to prevent scratching the finish, which could lead to surface rust over time.
