This guide is for individuals seeking a luxurious yet affordable bedding experience with natural materials. The key benefit is the hotel-quality comfort provided by premium goose feather and down, suitable for year-round use with its 10.5 tog rating. A potential caveat is the need for specific care due to its natural fill. The duvet features a blend of 85% goose feathers and 15% goose down, encased in a 230-thread count cotton downproof casing, and is accredited with antimicrobial technology.

Tog is a measure of thermal insulation. A 10.5 tog rating indicates a medium warmth duvet, suitable for use throughout most of the year, particularly spring, autumn, and mild winter nights.
The duvet is accredited with Micro-Fresh antimicrobial technology to help protect against bacteria and dust mites. However, individuals with severe feather or down allergies may prefer synthetic options.
It is recommended to wash your duvet only when necessary, typically once or twice a year, or if there are visible stains. Regular airing can help maintain freshness.
While it is machine washable, dry cleaning is not typically recommended as it can strip natural oils from the down and feathers, affecting their loft and insulating properties.
RDS stands for Responsible Down Standard. It certifies that the down and feathers used in the product come from animals that have been treated ethically and have not been subjected to unnecessary harm.
Always tumble dry on a low heat setting and use dryer balls or clean tennis balls. Check for complete dryness by feeling the filling throughout the duvet, and consider additional drying cycles or airing if needed.
Ensure the duvet is completely dry. Use a tumble dryer on a low heat setting with dryer balls or clean tennis balls to break up and redistribute the filling. Air dry thoroughly afterward.
Air the duvet outdoors on a dry, sunny day. If the odor persists, it may require another gentle wash following the care instructions. Ensure it is thoroughly dried.
This is uncommon with a downproof casing. If minor escape occurs, gently pull the fiber back in. If significant leakage occurs, check for tears or seams that may need repair.
Consider using a duvet cover for added insulation or layering with a blanket. For colder climates, a higher tog duvet may be more suitable.
Setup: Unpack the duvet and allow it to expand fully to its intended loft. It is ready for use immediately once unpacked. Ensure it is placed evenly within your duvet cover.
Compatibility: This king-size duvet is designed to fit standard king-size duvet covers. It is compatible with most standard washing machines and dryers suitable for large bedding items.
