Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install this cover, you will need a heavy-duty staple gun and rust-resistant staples. Begin by removing the old seat cover entirely, inspecting the seat foam for any damage or moisture buildup. Stretch the new cover starting from the center of the seat, working your way toward the front and back to ensure even tension. Use heat, such as a hair dryer, to slightly warm the material, which makes it more pliable and easier to stretch over the corners. For maintenance, simply wash the seat cover with mild soap and a soft brush after every ride to remove mud and grit. Avoid using high-pressure power washers directly on the seams, as this can degrade the adhesive properties of the cover over time.
