Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface to be covered is clean, dry, and smooth. Peel back a small section of the backing paper and carefully align the film. Gradually smooth the film onto the surface, using a squeegee or credit card to push out air bubbles as you go. If a mistake is made, gently peel back the film and reapply.
Compatibility: This vinyl film is best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as painted wood, laminate, metal, and glass. It may not adhere effectively to rough, textured, or unsealed surfaces.
Care: To clean, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes, which can damage the surface. For extended durability, especially in kitchens and bathrooms, it is recommended to seal the edges of the film with silicone sealant around sinks, hobs, and worktop joints. Use mats for hot pans and trivets to protect the surface from direct heat damage.
