Product Information

Full details

The Lorina Low Port Pelham features a smaller port that gives space for the tongue without any real palate pressure, ideal for horses with larger tongues. A Pelham bit applies poll pressure to offer you additional control and can be used with double reins or a single rein with roundings (available separately). For more information about horse bits, take a look at our Bits Buying Guide. Available in 4.5", 5", 5.5" or 6". The Low Port Pelham from Lorina offers a large amount of movement for the tongue, perhaps suitable for horses with big tongues. Despite this the palette pressure is minimal, resulting in the bit being strong, whilst causing little or no discomfort for the horse.
