Yes, CVL Extra provides protection against the corrosive effects of ethanol found in E5 and E10 fuels.
No, the formula is specifically designed to be safe for use with vehicles equipped with catalytic converters.
It can add up to 4 octane numbers to your base fuel, depending on the initial quality and composition of the petrol.
While safe for modern engines, it is primarily intended for classic competition engines or high-performance vehicles requiring anti-knock protection.
A slight overdose generally does not harm the engine, but it is recommended to stick to the manufacturer's specified ratios for optimal combustion results.
Verify the mixing ratio against the amount of fuel in the tank; you may need a slightly higher concentration for extreme compression ratios.
Gently shake the bottle before use to ensure the chemical components are properly homogenized.
While the additive is designed to be fully soluble, ensure your fuel filters are replaced at the recommended service intervals for your specific vehicle.
To use CVL Extra effectively, ensure your fuel tank is accessible and the additive is added before filling up to ensure proper mixing with the petrol. The product is fully compatible with leaded, unleaded, and lead replacement fuels. Always wear protective gloves when handling the lubricant to prevent skin irritation. Store the 500ml bottles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and ensure the caps are tightened securely to prevent evaporation or contamination. Do not store fuel mixed with this additive for extended periods; consume the treated fuel within a reasonable timeframe to maintain efficacy.
