Engineered for efficiency in both wet and dry conditions, this 12-inch broom head excels at clearing construction debris, grit, and mud from paths and patios. No, this is a broom head only. You will need to purchase a 23.5mm (15/16 inch) diameter handle separately.
While it can be used indoors, the stiff, synthetic bristles are designed for heavy-duty outdoor use and may scratch delicate hardwood or soft laminate flooring.
The platform is made of hardwood. While it is durable, we recommend storing it in a dry area to prevent the wood from rotting or warping over long periods.
You need a standard handle with a 23.5mm (15/16 inch) diameter to ensure a proper fit with the socket.
Yes, the synthetic fibers are acid-resistant, making this broom suitable for use with various cleaning agents commonly used on patios and driveways.
Ensure the handle diameter is exactly 23.5mm. If the handle is too thin, wrap a small amount of adhesive tape around the end to create a tighter fit within the push-fit socket.
Dip the bristles in hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes to soften the fibers, reshape them by hand, and hang the broom vertically until dry.
To set up your ProDec broom, you must acquire a wooden or metal handle with a 23.5mm (15/16 inch) diameter. Insert the handle firmly into the plastic socket until it is tight. To maintain the broom, shake off excess dirt after each use and rinse the synthetic fibers with clean water if you have been sweeping acidic or oily substances. Store the broom head facing downward or hanging in a dry, covered area to prevent the bristles from distorting over time.
