FAQs

Is this bait suitable for long sessions?

Yes, the shelf-life formulation is specifically designed for long-term convenience and durability, making it perfect for extended sessions.

Does this boilie work in winter?

The Cell is a proven food source that works year-round, though some anglers prefer adding a liquid booster during the coldest months.

How should I store the boilies?

Keep them in their original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.

Can I use these with other Mainline products?

Yes, the entire Mainline range is designed to be compatible, including dips, pop-ups, and pellets.

Why is it called a food-source boilie?

It is formulated with nutritional ingredients that provide a complete meal for the carp, rather than just using artificial flavors, which encourages long-term acceptance.

Troubleshooting

Bait feels hard or dry

Ensure the bag is kept sealed; you may rehydrate the bait slightly with a dedicated liquid booster to restore its texture.

Bait is being ignored in cold water

Try trimming the boilie down or using a 'glug' or soak to boost the scent trail in colder, less dense water.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To get the most out of your Mainline Cell boilies, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once a bag is opened, ensure it is sealed tightly or transferred to an airtight container to keep the attractants locked in. When rigging, the 15mm size is perfectly compatible with standard boilie needles and hair rigs. For optimal results, consider matching your freebies with the dedicated Mainline liquid additives if you are fishing in colder water temperatures or aiming to increase the immediate leakage of attractors into the water column.
