Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The cooker hood can be installed as either a ducted or recirculating unit.
- Ducted Installation: Requires connection to an external vent. This setup provides the most effective removal of cooking odors and smoke. Professional installation is recommended.
- Recirculating Installation: Uses filters to clean the air before recirculating it back into the kitchen. This option is suitable if external venting is not possible.
Compatibility
- Power: The hood requires a standard electrical outlet.
- Space: Ensure sufficient space above your cooktop for the hood.
Care
- Cleaning: The stainless steel surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Filters: The grease filters are dishwasher-proof, making cleaning easy. Regular cleaning of the filters will maintain the hood's efficiency.
- Filter Replacement: Replace the carbon filters in the recirculating mode as recommended to maintain air quality.
