Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Jack up the vehicle, ensuring it's stable and secure. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for proper jacking points.
- Measurement: Measure the spring gap (the space between the coils) when the vehicle is jacked up. Select the appropriate size of Grayston Spring Assister (GE13 for a 18-25mm gap).
- Installation: Insert the spring assister between the spring coils, ensuring it's securely positioned.
- Lowering: Carefully lower the vehicle, making sure the assister remains in place.
Compatibility:
The Grayston Spring Assisters are designed to fit coil springs. The GE13 model suits a 18 to 25mm gap.
Care:
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the spring assisters for any signs of wear or damage.
- Maintenance: There's no specific maintenance required, but ensure they are clean and free from debris.
- Longevity: These are designed for temporary use. For continuous heavy loads, consider a more permanent suspension upgrade.
