FAQs
What is the Zefal Z Aero Frame Bag made of?
It is constructed from Polyester 420D TPU, a lightweight yet resistant material.
How is the bag secured to the bike frame?
It can be secured using non-abrasive, self-gripping straps or by using screws directly into the frame's top tube mounts.
Is the bag completely waterproof?
The bag features water-repellent material and a water-repellent zip, offering protection against rain. It is not designed to be fully submersible.
What is the capacity of the Z Aero bag?
The bag has a capacity of 0.4 liters.
Can I fit a spare tube and CO2 cartridge in this bag?
While the internal compartments optimize storage, the 0.4L capacity is primarily intended for nutrition. Depending on the size of your tube and CO2, it may or may not fit along with other items.
How do I clean the bag?
You can clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners to maintain the material's integrity and water-repellent properties.
Does the bag come with mounting screws?
The product information does not specify if mounting screws are included. It is recommended to use existing frame screws or source appropriate ones if needed.
Troubleshooting
Bag slips during ride (strap mounting)
Ensure straps are tightened firmly. Check that straps are routed correctly around the frame tubes. Consider using frame tape on contact points for added grip.
Water seeps into the bag
Verify that the water-repellent zipper is fully closed. Ensure no obstructions are preventing the zipper from sealing completely. While water-repellent, it is not fully waterproof for submersion.
Difficulty fitting larger items
The bag's capacity is 0.4L and is optimized for nutrition like gels and bars. For larger items, consider alternative storage solutions.
Screw mounts do not align
The bag is designed for standard screw mounts. If alignment is an issue, consider using the self-gripping strap mounting method instead.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Strap Mounting: Position the bag on the top tube. Secure it using the non-abrasive, self-gripping straps, ensuring a snug fit.
