This Kenable 7-in-1 USB-C Hub Adapter is for users with laptops or computers featuring limited USB-C ports who need to expand their connectivity. Its key benefit is enabling multiple device connections, including high-resolution displays, via a single USB-C port. A potential caveat is the 30Hz refresh rate for 4K video output. This adapter provides a portable solution to add essential ports, featuring HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, an SD/TF card reader, and USB-C Power Delivery.

Ensure the USB-C port on your computer supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Verify the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the adapter and the monitor. Try a different HDMI cable or monitor. Ensure the adapter is properly connected to the computer's USB-C port.
Check that the USB device is functioning correctly. Try connecting the USB device directly to the computer's USB port to rule out device issues. For USB 3.0 speeds, ensure the device and cable support USB 3.0. Try using a different port on the adapter.
Ensure the memory card is correctly inserted into the slot. Try using a different memory card to confirm the card is not faulty. Format the memory card on another device if possible (backup data first).
Verify that your laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery. Ensure you are using a USB-C power adapter that supports the required wattage for your laptop. Check that the PD adapter is securely connected to the adapter's USB-C PD port.
It is normal for the adapter to generate some heat when in use, especially when transferring data or delivering power. If the adapter becomes excessively hot, disconnect it and ensure it is not obstructed and is in a well-ventilated area.
