The Yonex Mavis 600 Shuttlecock is designed for recreational players seeking durability and consistent flight. Its key benefit is its longevity, allowing for extended play without frequent replacement. A potential caveat is its medium speed, which might not suit highly advanced players accustomed to faster shuttlecocks. This guide covers its features, use, and care.

The Yonex Mavis 600 are primarily designed for recreational play due to their medium speed and nylon construction. Tournament play often requires the specific flight characteristics of feather shuttlecocks.
Each tube contains six (6) Yonex Mavis 600 shuttlecocks.
Yes, they can be used for casual outdoor play, but they perform best in indoor environments or where there is minimal wind, as wind can significantly affect their flight path.
Always store them in the provided tube with the heads pointing upwards to maintain their shape and prevent damage to the skirt.
Nylon shuttlecocks are significantly more durable and less prone to breaking than feather shuttlecocks, making them a more cost-effective choice for regular practice and recreational games.
The Mavis 600 model is specifically a medium-speed shuttlecock. Yonex offers other Mavis models in different speed variations.
Ensure the shuttlecock is not damaged and is stored correctly in its tube. Check for environmental factors like wind or drafts.
This model is designed for medium speed. For faster play, consider a speed-specific shuttlecock. For slower play, ensure you are not hitting too hard or that the shuttlecock is not damaged.
Minor bends may straighten during play. For more significant bends, try carefully soaking the skirt in warm water for a few minutes, then allow it to air dry in its tube.
Setup: These shuttlecocks require no setup. Simply remove them from the protective tube and begin playing.
Compatibility: The Yonex Mavis 600 is compatible with all standard badminton rackets. They are designed for use on indoor courts, but can also be used for casual outdoor play in calm conditions.
Care: To maintain performance and longevity:
