This Akor Wall Flange Kit is designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals needing a reliable connection point for water supply and irrigation systems. Its key benefit is providing a secure, leak-free, and durable interface between your water source and piping, utilizing high-quality components for longevity. A potential consideration is the specific BSP thread sizes required for mating components.

The MDPE fittings and associated components in this kit are designed to withstand up to 10 bars of pressure.
This kit is primarily designed for cold water supply and irrigation. It is not recommended for high-temperature hot water applications.
Installation of the MDPE flange typically requires a pipe cutter and an adjustable wrench or specific MDPE fitting tools for tightening the compression nut. The Geka fitting is tool-free.
While brass is corrosion-resistant, the tap itself is not inherently frost-proof. It is recommended to drain the tap and connected hoses during freezing weather to prevent damage.
The MDPE flange is generally maintenance-free. If cleaning is necessary, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that could degrade the plastic.
The Geka Type Claw Fitting included in this kit is 1" BSP.
Ensure the MDPE pipe is fully inserted and the compression nut is tightened evenly and securely. Check the pipe end for damage.
Inspect the tap's internal mechanism for debris or wear. If wear is evident, the tap may need replacement.
Check the Geka claw fitting and the coupling for dirt, debris, or damage. Clean both parts thoroughly. Ensure the coupling is the correct size and type.
Verify all connections are tight and there are no blockages in the system. Ensure the incoming water supply pressure is adequate.
