FAQs
Can I store food items in these boxes?
These boxes are designed for personal accessories and gifts. They are not food-safe and should not be used for direct food contact.
What are the exact dimensions?
The medium box measures 13cm H x 19cm Diameter; the large box measures 17cm H x 21cm Diameter.
Are these boxes waterproof?
The exterior features a water-resistant satin lamination, but the interior cardboard is not waterproof. Use a liner for flowers.
Do the boxes nest inside each other?
Yes, they are designed to nest, which makes for easy storage when the boxes are not in use.
Can I paint the exterior?
The boxes are pre-finished with a protective lamination, so painting is not recommended as it may not adhere well to the surface.
Troubleshooting
Lid feels too tight
The lid is designed for a secure fit. Apply gentle, even pressure on both sides simultaneously to slide it into place.
Surface smudge or mark
Use a soft microfiber cloth with a tiny drop of water to gently buff the satin lamination. Avoid excess moisture.
Interior moisture damage
Ensure that any fresh floral arrangements are properly sealed with a waterproof liner or cellophane before inserting them.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your KDMD Hat Boxes requires no assembly; they are ready for use immediately upon unboxing. To maintain the vibrant finish, simply wipe the exterior with a dry or lightly dampened soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers, as these can compromise the satin lamination. If storing in a humid environment, ensure the area is well-ventilated to keep the interior cardboard dry. For floral use, always measure your container or foam block against the specific dimensions (13cm and 17cm heights) to ensure a proper fit before securing your display.
