Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This basin is designed for inset installation, meaning it sits within a cutout on a countertop or vanity unit. Ensure the cutout dimensions match the basin's specifications for a snug fit. Connections for the water supply and waste pipe will need to be made according to standard plumbing practices.
Compatibility:
- Taps: Compatible with basin pillar taps due to the two pre-drilled central tap holes. Ensure your chosen taps have a standard spindle size.
- Waste: Requires a standard basin waste fitting. A click-clack or slotted waste can be used, provided it is compatible with the basin's overflow.
- Countertop: Suitable for installation into most countertop materials, including laminate, solid surface, quartz, and granite, provided they are suitably cut and sealed.
Care:
To maintain the glossy white finish, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaning agents. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scouring pads, as these can scratch or damage the surface. For stubborn marks, a paste of baking soda and water can be gently applied and wiped clean.
