Full details

This stone wool insulation is designed for sound insulation for internal walls and floors, effectively reducing noise from adjacent rooms or neighbouring properties. Ideal for use in home offices, bedrooms, and media and gaming rooms, the slabs are easy to fit around cables, pipes, sockets and services. Made from stone wool, the non-combustible slabs can withstand temperatures up to 1777°c, helping to reduce the risk of fire spread. The insulation absorbs sound and reduces sound vibrations due to its density, non-directional fibre orientation and its open porous structure, trapping and preventing sound waves from travelling through it. ROCKWOOL insulation is non-combustible, and able to withstand temperatures up to 1,000 degrees centigrade, acting like a fire barrier to improve occupant safety and protect property in the event of a fire. It boasts excellent acoustic performance and is Quiet Mark™ approved. It is also water repellent, vapour permeable, and resists rot and mould, while being easy to cut and fit. The product features a patented FLEXI Edge.
