The Trend Air Pro Max APF40 Powered Respirator is an all-in-one safety helmet offering industrial-rated head, eye, and respiratory protection. It is designed for environments with fine airborne particles, risks of flying debris, head impact, or excessive noise. The helmet features a positive pressure, fan-driven filtered air supply of 220 litres per minute, eliminating the need for a face fit. It includes a Class 1 panoramic polycarbonate visor with an EN 166:2002 medium impact rating for protection against high-speed particles, ensuring clear vision without misting or fogging. The helmet also provides EN 397:2012+A1:2012 high-impact head protection, meeting HSE on-site hard hat regulations for protection from falling objects and general impacts. Respiratory protection is certified to EN 12941:1998+A2:2008, Protection Level TH3. It is suitable for users with facial hair or spectacles and comes with a padded adjustable head harness and soft elasticated facial cuff for comfort. Two 4-hour Li-Ion batteries offer extended working power, and optional clip-in ear defenders are available. The unit is supplied with visor overlays and is fully serviceable with replaceable parts.
