Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The NEFF N70 Induction Hob requires professional installation. A qualified installer must connect the hob to a dedicated cooker circuit, identified by a big red cooker switch. Ensure the installation complies with local electrical codes.
Compatibility
- Cookware: Ensure your cookware is induction-compatible. Look for a flat base and the induction symbol (a coil) on the bottom.
- Power Supply: Requires a 220-240V AC power supply.
- Home Connect: Requires a Wi-Fi network and the Home Connect app.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sponges.
- Spills: Clean spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the surface.
- Scratches: Avoid dragging cookware across the surface to prevent scratches. Use a hob scraper to remove stubborn food residue.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the hob for any signs of damage. Contact a qualified technician for any necessary repairs.
