Full details

The Laneige Get Into Balance Mode set is an ideal skincare routine for individuals with combination or oily skin types looking to manage shine and refine skin texture. This 3-step system delivers a purified, matte complexion by unclogging pores and providing lightweight hydration without a greasy residue, though users with extremely sensitive skin should perform a patch test before regular application of the peel-off mask.

FAQs

Can I use these products if I have dry skin?

This set is specifically formulated for oily and combination skin; it may be too drying for those with naturally dry skin types.

How often should I use the peel-off mask?

It is recommended to use the mask 1-2 times per week to avoid over-exfoliation.

Is the moisturizer heavy?

No, the Shine Control Weightless Moisturizer is specifically formulated to be light and non-greasy.

What is the primary function of the Rice-Inamide Complex?

It works to balance skin oils, reduce the appearance of pores, and strengthen the natural moisture barrier.

Do I need to wash my face after peeling off the mask?

You can gently rinse your face with lukewarm water to remove any remaining residue before applying the moisturizer.

Troubleshooting

Skin feels tight or dry after cleansing

Reduce the amount of cleanser used or ensure you are applying the moisturizer immediately after patting your skin dry.

Peel-off mask is difficult to remove

Ensure you are applying an even, opaque layer. If it is too thin, it will break upon removal; if it is too thick, it may take longer to dry.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Specifically formulated for oily and combination skin types
Effectively controls excess shine without stripping moisture
Comprehensive 3-step routine simplifies daily skincare
Includes helpful accessories like a pouch and spatula
Contains ingredients that help minimize the appearance of pores

Cons

Peel-off masks may be too abrasive for highly sensitive skin
Limited to a specific routine cycle rather than individual product usage
Requires consistent daily use to maintain long-term oil control

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using your set, ensure your face is free of heavy makeup before applying the cleanser. The included spatula should be washed with warm water and soap after every use of the mask to prevent bacterial buildup in the jar. Store the products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the Rice-Inamide Complex. These products are designed to work harmoniously as a set but can be integrated into existing skincare routines; however, avoid using other strong chemical exfoliants on the same days you apply the peel-off mask to prevent irritation.
