The TentBox Chuck Box is an essential storage solution for overlanders, campers, and outdoor adventurers who need a rugged, multi-functional container for their gear. Its rotomoulded construction offers incredible durability, allowing it to double as a seat or step stool while protecting your contents from the elements; however, at 6.5 kg, it is a relatively substantial piece of kit that requires dedicated space in your vehicle loadout.

The empty weight of the 55L Chuck Box is 6.5 kg.
Use the built-in tie-down channels on the sides with ratchet straps to lash the box down securely.
Check that the gasket seal is properly seated and that the box is not overfilled, preventing the lid from making full contact with the base.
Inspect the rubber gasket for trapped debris or damage; clean the seal and ensure the latches are fully engaged to compress the gasket.
Setting up the Chuck Box is straightforward: simply ensure the contents are distributed evenly for better weight management. For transport, utilize the tie-down channels with standard 25mm ratchet straps, ensuring you do not overtighten to the point of deforming the plastic.
Maintenance is minimal. To clean, wipe the LLDPE exterior with a damp cloth or hose it down; the material is resistant to mud and grime. Periodically check the stainless steel latches for debris and ensure the gasket seal is free of grit to maintain its waterproof integrity.
