Product Information

Full details

The Anker Nano Detachable Car Mount is designed for drivers seeking a reliable and versatile smartphone mounting solution that handles both standard and curved surfaces. Its key benefit is the combination of a powerful 16N magnetic hold and heavy-duty 3M adhesive, which ensures your device stays stable even on bumpy roads or high-temperature environments. While it offers impressive durability, the mount requires a clean, flat surface area for initial installation to ensure the 3M adhesive bonds correctly.

FAQs

Does this work on curved dashboard surfaces?

Yes, the Anker Nano is specifically engineered to adhere to curved dashboards and screens.

Will the magnet affect my phone's battery or GPS?

No, the magnetic hold is designed to be safe for modern smartphones and will not interfere with internal components.

Can I remove the mount later?

Yes, but be aware that the 3M adhesive is very strong and may require gentle heating or an adhesive remover to clear residue from your vehicle interior.

What is the maximum weight it can support?

The mount is rated to support devices weighing up to 22.5 lbs.

Can it withstand very hot summer temperatures?

Yes, the materials are rated for use in temperatures up to 140°F.

Troubleshooting

The mount is peeling off the dashboard

Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned with the provided wipes. If the surface is highly textured or greasy, the adhesive may struggle to bond.

Phone slides off the magnet

Check that the phone is centered on the magnetic pad. If using a phone case, ensure it is not too thick, or add a metal mounting ring to the exterior.

Works reliably on curved surfaces
Heat-resistant for summer driving
Supports heavy devices
Flexible 360-degree rotation

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Surface Preparation: Use the included wet wipes to clean your chosen mounting location thoroughly. Removing oils and dust is essential for the 3M adhesive to achieve maximum bonding strength.
Installation: Peel the backing from the adhesive and press firmly against the surface. Hold for at least 30 seconds to ensure contact.
Curing Time: Allow the adhesive to set for 24 hours before attaching your device to ensure a secure, long-lasting bond.
Compatibility: The mount is compatible with almost any smartphone device. Ensure your phone case is magnetic-compatible or utilize an add-on metal ring if necessary.
Care: Clean the mount base with a microfiber cloth periodically to remove dust. Do not use harsh chemicals that may degrade the adhesive backing.
