Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust, grease, or old adhesive.
- Measure and cut the film to size using the grid on the reverse. Allow a slight overlap for trimming.
- Peel back a small section of the backing paper from one edge.
- Carefully align the film and press the exposed adhesive edge down.
- Slowly peel off the remaining backing paper while smoothing the film onto the surface with a felt edge smoother, working from the center outwards to eliminate air bubbles.
- Use a utility cutter to trim any excess film.
- For curved edges, gently warm the film with a hairdryer to make it more pliable before applying.
Compatibility:
Suitable for application on any smooth, non-porous surface including wood (sealed), laminate, metal, glass, and plastic. Not recommended for textured, dirty, or damp surfaces. Seal edges around sinks and hobs.
Care:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Heat resistant up to 70ºC.
