Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is a built-in hob, meaning it is designed to be permanently installed into your kitchen countertop. Ensure you have the correct cutout dimensions (Installation compartment width: 56 cm, Installation compartment depth: 49 cm) and that there is adequate ventilation. Electrical connection should be performed by a qualified electrician, noting the connected load of 7400 W.
Compatibility:
Induction hobs require ferromagnetic cookware. This means pots and pans made of cast iron, or magnetic stainless steel will work. To test if your cookware is compatible, hold a magnet to the base; if it sticks firmly, it will work on this hob. Pans made of aluminum, copper, or glass will not work unless they have a special induction base.
Care:
- Cleaning: The ceramic top surface is easy to clean. After each use, once the hob has cooled down (indicated by the residual heat indicator), wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a ceramic hob cleaner can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Spills: Clean up spills promptly, especially sugary ones, as they can easily burn onto the surface.
- Maintenance: Ensure the ventilation areas around the hob are kept clear of dust and debris.
