Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results, use a sharp, fine-point sewing needle (such as a 60/8 or 70/10 Universal or Microtex needle) to prevent puckering or snagging. Because the fabric is slippery, consider using pattern weights instead of pins, or use fine silk pins to avoid leaving permanent marks. When cutting, lay the fabric on a flat, non-slip surface to ensure pattern alignment. For maintenance, machine wash the fabric on a gentle cycle at 40 degrees. To maintain the lustrous finish, avoid harsh detergents and tumble drying; instead, line dry in the shade. If ironing is necessary, use a cool setting on the reverse side of the fabric to avoid heat damage to the synthetic fibers.
