Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from old wallpaper paste or loose paint.
- Apply wallpaper adhesive evenly to the back of the wallpaper strips using a pasting brush or roller (paste-the-paper method).
- Allow the paste to soak for the time recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Hang the first strip level, ensuring it is perfectly vertical.
- Butt join subsequent strips, ensuring the pattern (if any) is aligned or, in this case, that the free match is seamless.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board using a sharp knife and a straight edge.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls. It is recommended for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and hallways. Ensure the wall surface is sound and properly prepared before application. For damp areas like bathrooms, consider a more specialized product, though its washable nature offers some resilience.
Care:
To clean, use a damp cloth or sponge. Minor marks can often be wiped away gently. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive water, as this may damage the textured finish or metallic elements. The wallpaper is wet removable, meaning it can be removed by soaking with water when it's time for redecoration.
