FAQs

Will this fit barrows from other brands?

Yes, it is designed with a universal fitment in mind and works well with the majority of standard carp barrows on the market.

Can I wash the cover in a washing machine?

No, you should only clean the cover by hand with a damp cloth or soft brush to avoid damaging the waterproof taped seams.

Is the fabric fully waterproof or just water-resistant?

The cover is constructed with waterproof materials and features taped seams to provide full protection against heavy rain.

Does it come with a storage bag?

The cover is designed to be folded down compactly, but it does not include a separate storage pouch.

How do I ensure a secure fit on a non-Solar barrow?

If you have a smaller barrow, you may need to tuck the excess material underneath your luggage pile to keep it taut.

Troubleshooting

Water pooling on top of the cover

Ensure your barrow load is evenly distributed and peak-shaped to allow water to run off the sides.

Cover slipping off during transit

Check that the cover is centered correctly and use additional bungee straps to secure the edges to the barrow frame.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Superior water-repellent Peach Skin Camo fabric
Fully taped seams for maximum moisture protection
Tailored design fits both C-Tech and Traveller models
Lightweight yet highly durable construction
Quick and easy to deploy on the bank

Cons

Not intended for submersion in standing water
May be slightly loose on very compact or frame-less barrow designs
Requires proper folding to maintain fabric longevity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the cover, center the material over your loaded barrow, ensuring the seams are aligned with the corners of your gear pile. Pull the edges taut and secure them using the barrow’s existing attachment points or bungee systems if necessary.

Compatibility: This cover is officially optimized for the Solar Tackle C-Tech and Traveller barrows but is sized to accommodate most standard-dimension carp fishing barrows.

Care Instructions: To maintain the water-repellent properties of the Peach Skin fabric, avoid storing the cover while it is soaking wet for extended periods. If it becomes muddy, allow it to air dry naturally, then gently brush off debris with a soft-bristled brush. Do not use harsh detergents or machine wash, as this may degrade the waterproof coating.
