Troubleshooting
Seat base not locking into ISOFIX anchors
Ensure ISOFIX anchor points in the vehicle are clear of debris. Pull out the ISOFIX connectors fully from the base. Align the connectors with the vehicle anchors and push firmly until a click is heard and the indicator shows green.
Seat unit does not click securely onto the base
Check that the seat unit is correctly aligned with the base. Ensure there are no obstructions on either the seat or base connection points. Lift the seat slightly and re-insert it onto the base until the locking indicators confirm a secure fit.
Rotation mechanism is stiff or stuck
Ensure the seat is correctly disengaged from any locking positions before attempting to rotate. Check for any obstructions around the base or seat connection. Refer to the manual for specific instructions on engaging and disengaging the rotation.
Harness straps are difficult to adjust
Ensure the headrest is in the correct position for the child's height, as this often adjusts the harness height simultaneously. Check that the harness webbing is not twisted. Use the adjustment mechanism smoothly as per the instruction manual.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the ISOFIX base is securely installed according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions and the Cosatto manual. The seat unit then clicks firmly onto the base. Always confirm that the seat is correctly locked in position and that the safety indicators show a green light. For rear-facing installation, the seat should only be used in this orientation until the child reaches the maximum height/weight limit specified for rear-facing use.
Compatibility: This i-Size system is designed for vehicles equipped with ISOFIX anchor points and a Top Tether system (if applicable for the specific seat mode). Always check your vehicle manual and the Cosatto compatibility list to confirm suitability for your car.
Care: The seat covers are typically removable and washable. Always follow the care instructions on the fabric label. Wipe the plastic components with a mild soap and water solution, ensuring no abrasive cleaners are used. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
