FAQs
Are these trainers waterproof?
The product description does not explicitly state they are waterproof. However, the materials and Vibram sole offer good water resistance and traction in wet conditions.
What type of activities are these trainers best suited for?
They are designed for a range of activities including light trail walking, hiking, urban commuting, travel, and general active lifestyle wear, providing comfort and stability.
How do I clean the white polyester upper?
Gently wipe the upper with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to prevent damage.
What is the benefit of the carbon fiber between the midsole and tread?
The carbon fiber element aids in propulsion, helping to give you a boost forward with each step, making your movement more efficient.
Can the insole be replaced?
Yes, the OrthoLite® insole is designed to offer long-term cushioning and breathability, and can be removed. If it loses its effectiveness over time, it can be replaced.
What makes the Vibram MEGAGRIP sole special?
The Vibram MEGAGRIP sole is renowned for its exceptional grip and slip resistance on both wet and dry surfaces, providing enhanced safety and stability.
Troubleshooting
Reduced traction or grip
Clean the Vibram MEGAGRIP sole thoroughly with water and a soft brush to remove any accumulated dirt or debris that may be affecting grip.
Discomfort or pressure points
Ensure the correct size has been selected. The OrthoLite® insole provides cushioning, but proper fit is essential. Try wearing the shoes for shorter periods initially to break them in.
Insole feels damp or loses cushioning
Remove the OrthoLite® insole and allow it to air dry completely. If cushioning significantly degrades, consider replacing the insole.
Exterior material appears dirty
Gently wipe the polyester upper with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a very mild soap solution and test on an inconspicuous area first.
