The DuraTech 200CC Oil Absorption Syringe is a professional-grade fluid extraction tool designed for mechanics, hobbyists, and DIY enthusiasts who need to handle engine oil, brake fluid, or gear oil in tight spaces. Its primary benefit is the combination of a 200cc high-capacity cylinder and an auto-locking copper adapter, which ensures spill-free fluid transfers in vehicles ranging from ATVs to agricultural equipment. While this tool is incredibly efficient for general fluid maintenance, users should note that the included tubing is specifically calibrated for 7mm and 8mm connections, which may limit compatibility with non-standard hose sizes without additional adapters.

Yes, the syringe is compatible with brake fluid, though you should clean the unit thoroughly immediately after use to prevent seal degradation.
The adapter is designed for 7mm and 8mm PU tubing.
The cylinder is made from durable transparent material designed to withstand standard automotive fluids, but it is not intended for long-term storage of corrosive chemicals.
Draw a mixture of warm water and mild detergent through the syringe several times, then rinse with clean water and air dry with the plunger removed.
Check your packaging for included spares, but generally, the double-seal design is intended for long-term durability with regular maintenance.
Apply a small amount of clean engine oil or silicone lubricant to the rubber seals to improve slide efficiency.
Check that the copper adapter is fully locked and verify the hose is not kinked. Ensure the double rubber pads are properly seated inside the cylinder.
Inspect the rubber seals for debris or damage; clean or replace them if the seal is compromised.
Setup is straightforward: ensure the rubber seals are lubricated with a light coating of clean oil before the first use to ensure a smooth plunger action. To connect a tube, firmly push your 7mm or 8mm PU tubing into the copper adapter; the auto-lock will hold it securely in place. After each use, it is critical to flush the syringe with a mild solvent or warm soapy water if the fluid was non-petroleum based. To maintain the vacuum seal, store the plunger slightly depressed, and avoid exposing the rubber seals to harsh chemicals or extreme heat for extended periods. Always ensure the protective caps are secured during storage to prevent dust accumulation inside the cylinder.
