Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Locate your vehicle's air filter housing, usually found in a black plastic box under the hood.
- Open the housing by releasing the clips or screws.
- Carefully remove the old air filter.
- Clean the inside of the air filter housing, removing any debris.
- Insert the new MANN-FILTER C26006, ensuring it seats correctly and creates a proper seal.
- Close and secure the air filter housing.
Compatibility: Always verify that the MANN-FILTER C26006 is compatible with your specific vehicle make, model, and year before purchase. Check your owner's manual or consult a parts database.
Care: Air filters are designed for single use and are not serviceable. Inspect the filter during routine maintenance (e.g., oil changes) and replace it according to your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations or when it appears visibly dirty or damaged. Typical replacement intervals range from 15,000 to 30,000 miles, but this can vary based on driving conditions.
