FAQs

What material is the Cortana Gloria Skirt made of?

The skirt is made from a fabric that combines viscose and linen, featuring a satin finish.

How do I tie the wraparound skirt?

Typically, you will wrap the skirt around your waist and thread one end through a small opening or tie the two ends together at the side or back, depending on the specific design.

Is this skirt suitable for formal events?

Yes, the satin finish and elegant drape make it suitable for many semi-formal and evening events, especially when styled appropriately.

Can I wear this skirt in hot weather?

Absolutely. The blend of viscose and linen makes it breathable and comfortable for warm weather.

How should I care for the satin finish?

It's best to hand wash in cold water or use a gentle machine cycle. Avoid high heat drying and iron on a low setting on the reverse side to protect the finish.

What sizes are available?

The skirt is available in various UK women's dress sizes, such as 10, 14, and 16, among others.

Troubleshooting

Skirt feels too loose or too tight.

Adjust the wraparound tie to your preferred tightness. If the skirt is consistently ill-fitting even when tied, consider if a different size would be more appropriate.

Fabric is wrinkling excessively.

Gently iron the skirt on a low heat setting while slightly damp or use a pressing cloth. Hang the skirt immediately after washing to minimize wrinkles.

Satin finish appears dull after washing.

Ensure you are using a mild detergent and cold water. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive rubbing. Consider hand washing to maintain the sheen.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

As a clothing item, the Cortana Gloria Skirt requires no technical setup. Its compatibility is with a female adult wearer.

Care Instructions:

  • Washing: Due to the delicate satin finish and fabric blend, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Alternatively, a gentle machine wash cycle with like colors can be used.
  • Drying: Avoid tumble drying. Lay the skirt flat or hang it to air dry, preferably out of direct sunlight to preserve the color and fabric integrity.
  • Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting while the garment is still slightly damp, or use a pressing cloth. Iron the fabric on the reverse side to protect the satin finish.
