Setup
- Fill the water tank with tap water (suitable for use).
- Plug in the iron and turn it on. Wait for the iron to heat up. The indicator light will signal when the iron is ready.
- Select the desired steam setting.
- Begin ironing.
Compatibility
The Philips Azur 8000 Series Steam Iron is compatible with all ironable fabrics, thanks to OptimalTEMP technology. It works with standard household electrical outlets.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe the soleplate with a clean, damp cloth. Let the iron cool completely before cleaning.
- Descaling: Use the Quick Calc Release function regularly to remove any limescale build-up. Follow the instructions in the user manual.
- Storage: Store the iron in an upright position in a safe, dry place.
