Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and flat. Fill any holes or uneven areas.
- Measurements: Accurately measure the area where the panels will be installed.
- Cutting: Cut the panels to the required size using appropriate tools. Use a circular saw or utility knife for precise cuts.
- Adhesive Application: Apply the recommended adhesive to the back of the panel, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Panel Placement: Carefully position the panel onto the wall, ensuring it aligns correctly. Use a level to maintain vertical and horizontal alignment.
- Sealing: Apply sealant along the edges and joints to ensure a waterproof seal.
Compatibility
The panels are compatible with most wall surfaces, including drywall, plywood, and existing tiles. However, ensure the surface is properly prepared before installation.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner to wipe down the panels.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes, as they can damage the surface.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the sealant along the edges and joints and reapply if necessary.
