Product Information

Full details

The Target Darts Raymond van Barneveld K-Flex No.2 is an integrated flight and shaft system designed for competitive and casual dart players who demand consistent, professional-grade performance. By combining the flight and shaft into one injection-molded piece, this system eliminates the common issue of flights popping off during play and ensures a perfect 90-degree angle for aerodynamic stability. While the integrated design offers superior durability and precision, users should note that the entire unit must be replaced if the flight or shaft sustains significant damage, rather than swapping out individual components.

FAQs

Does the K-Flex fit all dart barrels?

The K-Flex uses a universal 2BA thread, which fits the vast majority of dart barrels currently on the market.

Can I replace just the flight if it breaks?

No, the K-Flex is a single, integrated unit. If the flight or shaft is damaged beyond repair, the entire unit should be replaced.

What does the flex technology actually do?

The shaft section is designed to deflect upon impact, which prevents 'robin-hooding' and reduces the chance of your dart bouncing out of the board.

Is this version authorized by Raymond van Barneveld?

Yes, this is an official player-edition product created in collaboration with the five-time World Champion.

How do I know if I have the right length?

K-Flex units are manufactured to provide a consistent throw; check the specific product dimensions to ensure the overall length matches your throwing preference.

Troubleshooting

Dart wobbling during flight

Ensure the 2BA thread is screwed completely into the barrel; a loose connection will compromise balance.

Flight appears slightly bent

The K-Flex material is resilient; gently straighten the flight wings by hand to restore the 90-degree angle.

Difficulty fitting onto barrel

Verify your barrel uses the universal 2BA thread standard; clean the barrel threads of any debris or broken plastic from previous shafts.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Eliminates flight loss or loosening during play
Ensures consistent 90-degree flight angle for better accuracy
Reduces bounce-outs due to flexible shaft material
Easy to install on standard 2BA barrels
Professional collaboration design

Cons

Requires replacing the whole unit if damaged
Less customization than traditional separate flight/shaft setups
Specific aesthetics may not suit all players

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the K-Flex system is identical to standard nylon or carbon shafts. Simply twist the 2BA thread into your dart barrel until firm. Do not overtighten, as this can stress the thread base.

To ensure maximum longevity:

Avoid storing darts in extreme temperatures, which can cause the polymer to become brittle or overly soft.
Check the tip and shaft after heavy sessions for any structural burrs.
Use a standard dart case to prevent the flights from being crushed or deformed while in storage.
