Vivienne Westwood Lucrece Pearl Necklace - Gold

No, this necklace features glass-based pearls, which provide a consistent size and luster while maintaining the durability required for a fashion-forward piece.

It is not recommended. Exposure to water, chlorine, and salt can degrade the finish of the gold-tone hardware and potentially damage the stringing material of the pearls.

Store it in the original pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box, ensuring it is laid flat or hung to prevent the pearls from getting tangled or scratched.

Lay it flat on a soft surface and gently use a needle or a fine-tipped tool to carefully loosen the knot, avoiding any pulling force that could snap the stringing material.

While durable, all costume jewelry can react to prolonged contact with skin oils, sweat, and perfumes. Wiping the piece down with a soft, dry cloth after every use will help maintain the finish.

Gently clean the pearls with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Ensure they are completely dry before storage.

Check the lobster-claw mechanism for any accumulated dust or cosmetic residue. Use a dry, soft brush to gently clean the interior of the clasp mechanism.
