Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Simply plug the hub's USB-C connector into a compatible USB-C port on your laptop or device. If using the Power Delivery feature, connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter to the hub's USB-C PD input port, and then connect the hub to your laptop. The HDMI port, SD/TF card slots, and USB-A ports should be recognized automatically by most modern operating systems.
Compatibility:
- Operating Systems: Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows 7, Windows 8, macOS, and Linux.
- Host Port Requirement: Requires a USB-C port on your host device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) for video output functionality. Not all USB-C ports support this feature. Please check your device's specifications.
- Power Delivery: For charging functionality, your host device must support USB Power Delivery (USB PD). A power adapter supporting at least 65W is recommended for optimal performance when charging your laptop and using other hub functions.
Care:
- Keep the hub in a dry environment and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or cleaning agents.
- Ensure the USB-C cable and port are free from dust and debris to maintain a stable connection.
- Avoid excessive bending or pulling of the cable.
