The Roman Petite Padded Jacket is an ideal choice for petite women seeking a stylish yet functional outer layer for the autumn and winter months. Offering excellent warmth through its padded construction and standing collar, this jacket provides a flattering hip-length fit that transitions easily from casual outings to everyday errands; however, potential buyers should note that as it is made from polyester, it is best suited for layering rather than extreme moisture conditions.

The jacket is made from polyester and provides protection from chilly weather, but it is not marketed as waterproof or highly water-resistant.
We recommend a delicate wash cycle with cold water or hand washing to maintain the integrity of the padding and fabric.
Petite sizing is specifically proportioned for women of shorter stature, typically ensuring the sleeves, torso length, and shoulder width are better aligned for smaller frames.
While it is designed as an outer layer, its slim profile allows it to be worn under a larger, loose-fitting waterproof coat if extra insulation is required.
The jacket features external patch pockets, but does not include internal security pockets.
Hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger for 24 hours to allow the padding to naturally loft and wrinkles to drop out.
Gently shake or pat the jacket while it is damp to redistribute the polyester fill, then ensure it dries completely flat or hung upright.
This garment is ready to wear immediately upon arrival. Because of the polyester padding, it is important to follow the care instructions to prevent clumping. When cleaning, use a cool, gentle cycle or hand wash to ensure the padding stays evenly distributed. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can damage the synthetic fibers and structure of the jacket. Air drying in a well-ventilated area is recommended to keep the jacket looking fresh. It is compatible with a wide range of wardrobe staples, making it a reliable choice for casual layering.
