Alleviates pipe vibration caused by sudden water flow stops, such as with lever taps or washing machine valves. This mini expansion vessel (or shock arrestor) cushions the impact using a small internal membrane. It can be installed vertically or horizontally in pipework before the problematic outlet or valve. Suitable for single outlets or small groups of services, and can be used in coastal environments and with brackish water. Features: 0.16 litre volume, 1/2"" male BSP connection, stainless steel construction, maximum working pressure of 10 bar, maximum system temperature of 90°C, maximum membrane temperature of 70°C, pre-charged to 3.5 bar, WRAS approved. Dimensions: H112mm x D85mm.
