Full details

The Victron Energy Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged, preventing damage. It can also be used to prevent the battery from having insufficient power to crank the engine. The device can be programmed using Bluetooth to set specific engage/disengage levels, or by using a programming pin for predefined settings. Bluetooth functionality can be disabled if needed. The Smart BatteryProtect is a uni-directional device, allowing current flow only from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal, suitable for loads or chargers. It automatically detects system voltage (12V or 24V) once during startup. A special setting is available for Li-ion batteries, allowing control by the VE.Bus BMS and enabling its use as a charge interrupter.
