Top of the range, high performance Dura-Ace low profile hydraulic road disc brake for efficient braking in all conditions. This caliper is designed for front wheel use on flat mount forks and includes an adapter to flip between 140 and 160 mm rotor compatibility. It features oversized 22mm ceramic pistons optimized for heat insulation, lightweight construction, and stiffness. The opposed 2-piston design reduces the leading effect and ensures optimal pad wear. Improved pad to rotor clearance, with a 10% increase over the BR-B9170, reduces the chance of rotor drag. The direct flat mount and open design allow for easy and quick wheel replacement. The forged caliper design is lightweight and rigid. It features a one-way internal fluid circuit for easy bleeding and uses mineral oil brake fluid, which is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic brake fluid. The shim-less mounting bracket allows for quick installation and setup. Recommended for use with Ice Tech FREEZA Center Lock SM-MT900 rotors for optimum braking performance. Comes complete with resin compound aluminium radiation fin pads.
