Full details

The LocknLock Airtight Rectangular Food Storage Container (1000ml) is designed for busy households, meal preppers, and professionals looking to keep food fresh while maximizing pantry or refrigerator space. FAQs

Is this container dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is designed for convenient cleaning in standard household dishwashers.

Can I use this in the microwave?

It is suitable for microwave reheating; however, you must release the clips and loosen the lid to allow steam to escape.

Does the container absorb odors?

The high-quality plastic is generally resistant to odors, but we recommend washing promptly after storing pungent foods to maintain optimal freshness.

What is the material composition?

The container is made from BPA-free polypropylene and high-quality food-grade silicone.

Can I stack multiple 1000ml containers?

Yes, the rectangular design is specifically engineered for stable stacking in both cabinets and refrigerators.

Troubleshooting

Lid feels difficult to lock

Ensure the silicone seal is seated perfectly in the groove of the lid; if the seal is twisted or bunched, it will prevent the clips from engaging properly.

Container is hard to open after freezing

Allow the container to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to let the air pressure stabilize before attempting to unclip the lid.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Excellent leak-proof performance
  • Space-efficient, stackable design
  • Durable and lightweight construction
  • BPA-free for peace of mind

Cons

  • Lid clips require firm pressure to close
  • Plastic can be prone to staining with highly acidic foods
  • Not suitable for direct stovetop use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your LocknLock container, follow these guidelines:

  1. Seal Maintenance: Periodically remove the silicone seal to clean trapped debris or moisture, then ensure it is placed back correctly to maintain the airtight lock.
  2. Cleaning: Use mild soap and a soft sponge to avoid scratching the plastic surface. While the container is durable, abrasive scrubbers can dull the clear finish over time.
  3. Compatibility: This container is compatible with standard refrigerator and freezer shelves.
  4. Handling: Ensure the container is at room temperature before moving it rapidly between extreme temperature environments to avoid thermal stress.
