The Trendi Switch 1 Gang 13 Amp Switched Plug Socket with USB is designed for homeowners and interior designers seeking a blend of modern aesthetics and functional power management. Its key benefit lies in the space-saving integration of dual USB charging ports alongside a standard power outlet, eliminating the need for bulky charging adapters. However, users should note that the 2100mA total output is shared between the two ports, which may result in slower charging speeds when two power-hungry devices are connected simultaneously.

No, the main rocker switch controls power to both the 13-amp plug and the USB ports.
You can, but since the 2100mA output is shared, charging speed will be reduced compared to using a single port.
Yes, it is designed to fit standard electrical back boxes found in most UK homes.
The product comes with a 5-year warranty covering defects in material and functionality, including fading.
No, this product is intended for indoor domestic use only and is not rated for wet rooms or bathrooms.
The finish is durable, but as with any high-gloss surface, it should be kept away from sharp objects to maintain the appearance.
Ensure the main rocker switch is in the 'ON' position and verify the device cable is functional.
Check that the mounting screws inside the unit are tightened securely to the back box.
Ensure there are no wires obstructing the space behind the plate and that the inner frame is mounted level.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with building regulations. The unit is designed to fit standard wall-mounted back boxes. For cleaning, use only a soft, dry cloth; avoid the use of abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents which could damage the vibrant strawberry red finish. Ensure the power is completely isolated at the consumer unit before attempting any maintenance or installation tasks. If the unit is being installed in a new build, ensure the back box is properly recessed to allow the screwless faceplate to sit perfectly flush against the wall.
