This skirt is crafted from high-quality, lightweight linen, known for its breathability.
Due to the delicate embroidery, professional dry cleaning is recommended to protect the fabric and pattern.
No, the skirt is fully lined to provide necessary opacity and comfort.
Yes, the elasticated design is intended to provide a comfortable and versatile fit for a UK size 16.
Yes, its unique asymmetric cut and embroidery make it versatile enough for semi-formal events when paired with the right accessories.
Lightly mist the wrinkled area with water and use a low-heat steam iron to smooth out the linen fibers.
Use small embroidery scissors to carefully trim any loose threads; do not pull them, as this may unravel the pattern.
Ensure the elastic is not twisted inside the fabric channel; gently manipulate the waistband to realign the elastic flat.
Because the Jolie Moi skirt uses a soft, embroidered fabric, proper care is essential to maintain its appearance. While the elasticated waistband provides a flexible fit for a UK size 16, it is recommended to store the skirt on a proper hanger to prevent permanent creasing of the linen. To clean, check the internal garment tag; usually, linen garments with delicate embroidery require professional dry cleaning or very gentle hand washing in cool water to prevent the threads from fraying or snagging. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat can cause linen to shrink and may damage the embroidered details. Steam iron on a low setting if necessary to remove wrinkles.
