Montblanc Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Ballpoint Pen - Ferrari

It's part of a project celebrating two excellences: Montblanc's craftsmanship and Ferrari's automotive heritage. This specific 'Classica' edition is inspired by the styling cues and iconic GT cars of the 1950s and 1960s, incorporating design elements from Ferrari's personalization program.

The pen features a body made from lacquered wood, inspired by Ferrari Gran Turismo sports cars, and is complemented by platinum-coated trim. The cap top displays the Montblanc emblem in yellow resin.

To replace the refill, unscrew the barrel of the pen. Remove the old refill and insert a new Montblanc ballpoint refill, then screw the barrel back together securely.

While it performs as a quality ballpoint pen, its design and materials make it more suited as a collector's item or for special occasions rather than a pen for constant daily use, to preserve its exquisite finish.

'Giallo Modena' is Modena yellow, a color deeply associated with Ferrari and its hometown, Modena, Italy. Its inclusion on the cap top is a direct nod to Ferrari's origins.

The platinum-coated cap top and cone feature engravings that are reminiscent of a steering wheel's grip, a detail also found on the pen's forepart. This is a tribute to the design of iconic Ferrari steering wheels, such as that of the 250 GTO.

Clean the lacquered wood body with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth only. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the finish.

Ensure the ink refill is correctly installed and has ink. If the refill is depleted, replace it. Try gently priming the ballpoint tip on scrap paper.

This can sometimes occur with new or seldom-used refills. Try writing on a clean sheet of paper for a few moments to encourage consistent ink flow. If the issue persists, the refill may need replacement.

Ensure you are turning the barrel in the correct direction (typically counter-clockwise to unscrew). If it feels stuck, try a gentle, steady pressure. Avoid forcing it, which could damage the threading. Ensure no debris is present in the threads.

Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a slightly damp cloth (water only) and dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents.
