The Sealey Premier Pliers Set (AK8564) is an essential collection of professional-grade hand tools designed for tradespeople and home mechanics who demand durability for daily tasks. This set provides excellent versatility for gripping and cutting, though the vinyl-dipped handles may lack the advanced ergonomic cushioning found on some higher-end, multi-component molded grip alternatives.

This Sealey Premier Pliers Set is backed by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
No, these are standard hand tools and do not feature VDE-rated insulation. They should never be used on live electrical components.
The jaws are made from hardened and heat-treated Chrome Vanadium steel.
The vinyl-dipped handles are standard industrial grade and can be wiped clean, but they are not specifically chemical or oil-resistant.
The set comes with a storage and hanging pouch, which is the recommended method to keep the blades protected and organized.
These pliers are designed for wire cutting and general gripping; they are not intended for cutting hardened steel bolts or high-tensile fasteners.
Apply a small amount of penetrating oil to the pivot point and work the jaws open and closed several times to distribute the lubrication.
Inspect the edges for nicks or debris. Clean the edges thoroughly and ensure you are not attempting to cut materials exceeding the rated hardness of the tool.
These pliers do not require any complex setup; they are ready for immediate use out of the storage pouch. To ensure a long service life, wipe the tools clean with a dry cloth after each use to remove metal shavings, dust, or oily residue. While the steel is highly resistant to wear, applying a light coating of machine oil to the pivot joint occasionally will ensure smooth opening and closing action. Store the set in the provided pouch within a toolbox or hang them on a pegboard to prevent accidental damage to the cutting edges from contact with other hardened steel tools.
