FAQs

What size pipe does this clip fit?

This Tycner Open Pipe Clip is designed specifically for pipes with a 22mm diameter.

How many clips are included in a pack?

Each pack contains five (5) Tycner Open Pipe Clips.

Are wall fixings included with the clips?

Yes, solid wall fixings (screws and wall plugs) are included with the pack.

Can these clips be used for outdoor applications?

While made from durable polymer, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh weather conditions may affect the material over time. For critical outdoor applications, consider suitability based on environmental factors.

Can I use these clips for pipes smaller or larger than 22mm?

The clips are precisely engineered for 22mm pipes. Using them with different sizes may result in a loose fit or difficulty in attachment.

What type of wall is best for mounting these clips?

These clips are designed for solid wall fixings, such as brick, concrete, or solid wood. Ensure you use appropriate anchors for your specific wall type.

Troubleshooting

Clip does not snap onto the pipe securely

Ensure the pipe diameter is exactly 22mm. Verify there is no debris or damage on the pipe or inside the clip.

Fixings do not hold the clip firmly to the wall

Confirm the wall material is solid. If mounting on drywall without a stud, use appropriate drywall anchors (not included). Ensure screws are tightened sufficiently but not overtightened to strip the hole.

Plastic clip appears cracked or brittle

Inspect for damage during transit or handling. Avoid exposing the clips to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals.
