Yes, they are engineered for both internal and external use, provided the door is protected from extreme weather conditions.
You will typically only need a standard screwdriver and a measuring tape to ensure correct alignment.
The black finish is a contemporary style, typically featuring a smooth, low-sheen matte or satin aesthetic.
The set is universal, but it is recommended to measure your door thickness to ensure the included spindle allows for proper engagement.
Ensure the grub screw on the side of the knob is tightened securely against the spindle.
Check that the spindle is not binding against the door bore hole and that the rose plates are perfectly level.
Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth; avoid using metal polish or abrasive cleaners.
Installation requires basic hand tools including a screwdriver and potentially a measuring tape to ensure alignment with existing bore holes. First, insert the spindle through the door mechanism, attach the rose plates, and secure the knobs using the provided screws. Ensure that the escutcheons are centered properly for a clean finish. To maintain the black coating, clean periodically with a soft, damp cloth and avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, which could strip the finish.
